Introducing Secure Tickets: A New Fan-Focused Offering
There’s no denying, today’s fans are behaving a little differently when it comes to their purchasing habits. With COVID’s impacts still lingering, fans are setting greater expectations on event organisers in relation to the flexibility of their events.
In response to the ever-evolving needs of event-goers, Moshtix has launched a new offering called Secure Tickets, breaking down barriers to purchase and giving fans more confidence in buying tickets than ever before.
When fans upgrade their tickets to a Secure Ticket they will be eligible to receive a refund if they are unable to attend an event for any of the reasons outlined in our Secure Ticket Terms and Conditions.
While being a fantastic offering for fans, Secure Tickets aims to provide event organisers with more stability, reducing the risks and costs of discretionary refunds, along with saving time and resources spent managing customer communication. Since the trial of the new product offering, almost 1000 claims have been processed by Booking Protect, allowing clients to focus on what they do best, running incredible live events!

How it works...
Fans will be offered the option to upgrade their tickets to Secure Tickets as part of the enhanced checkout flow, providing additional refund rights based on a change in circumstances and for reasons beyond their control (and beyond those already required by law). A full list of the refund rights can be found via our Secure Ticket Terms and Conditions.
Where a refund is payable under the Secure Ticket T&Cs, customer refunds will be handled by Booking Protect, customers can find instructions on how to make a refund request in the Manage Tickets section of their Moshtix Account, via their confirmation email or by heading to the Booking Protect website. Refunds will be issued by Booking Protect via a bank transfer regardless of the original payment method.
Refunds that do not fall within the Secure Tickets T&Cs (e.g. for cancellations, reschedules and where otherwise required by law or your event terms) will continue to be the event organiser’s responsibility and will be administered by Moshtix via the original method of payment.
