In response to this evolving demand, Moshtix is excited to introduce SMS Delivery for New Zealand as well as Australia, making the process of receiving tickets even more convenient and stress-free.

With SMS functionality, fans can choose to have their tickets delivered directly to their mobile phones, providing quick access and convenience. An additional SMS reminding customers about the event means they’ll never miss a gig and helps Venues and Event Organisers minimise no-shows.  This solution caters to ever-evolving consumer habits and embraces the power of mobile technology to ensure an instant and secure ticketing experience. Let's explore how we expect this new product to really enhance the way Fans receive and utilise their event tickets.

What does it do?

The SMS functionality allows fans to select SMS as their ticket delivery option during checkout. By entering a valid mobile number, customers will receive a digital ticket link via SMS once they complete their purchase. Additionally, they will also receive event reminders through SMS.

How do customers use it?

To utilise this feature, fans must simply select ‘SMS’ as the ticket delivery option during the checkout process. A valid mobile number is required to receive tickets via SMS.

There are several compelling reasons to choose SMS ticket delivery:

Who can use it?

SMS ticket delivery is available to all Fans for all eligible events sold via Moshtix. Currently, SMS delivery is available in Australia and New Zealand.

How much does it cost?

A fee of $2.00 (AUD/NZD) per order will apply to SMS ticket delivery. This fee covers the confirmation of ticket purchases and an event reminder.

Are SMS messages customisable per event or client?

No, the SMS messages are standard across all Client accounts, Venues, and Events. Event names and dates will be included within the SMS, respecting the character limits.
