Moshtix Renews Partnership With Ignite x Big Fan For 2026
Moshtix is delighted to renew its partnership with Ignite x Big Fan for 2026, continuing our support for one of Aotearoa’s most impactful next generation music industry development programmes.
Run by Big Fan, Ignite gives rangatahi real world experience across live events, promotion and production through a free eight week programme. Alongside hands-on learning, participants receive one-on-one mentoring from industry professionals, helping them build confidence, connections and a clearer path into the music community.
The 2026 programme is already in full swing, with students taking part in marketing workshops, getting their bands booked and preparing for venue, recording studio and radio station tours.
For Moshtix, this partnership is about backing the people who will shape the future of live music in Aotearoa, from the stage to behind the scenes.
General Manager At Big Fan & Ignite Programme Director, Savina Fountain offered insight into the programme. “At Big Fan, we’ve seen first-hand the impact of Moshtix support for grassroots and community through our IGNITE programme. Their investment goes beyond programme delivery, helping us to upskill and grow as an organisation to better serve the music community. This is a genuine partnership, not just a transaction – Moshtix are true connectors and believers in what we do, creating real opportunities for the next generation of the music community,” she said.
Moshtix is thrilled to keep playing a small part in nurturing future industry talent and building a pipeline of next generation professionals across Aotearoa.
