With the expansion of TikTok and Ticketmaster’s partnership across 20+ countries, including Australia and New Zealand, fans will now be able to discover and buy tickets to their favourite Moshtix festivals and tours within the TikTok platform.

TikTok and Ticketmaster will also expand the program to even more artists. Now, any account on TikTok with 1k+ followers in participating countries can use the Ticketmaster ticketing feature to promote their live dates and connect with fans around the globe.

Music fans worldwide can now easily discover and buy tickets for events through Moshtix directly within the TikTok platform in just a few clicks. The in-app feature empowers artists to promote their live dates to new and existing fans on TikTok, helping them expand their audiences globally and build their careers, simply by allowing them to add their Moshtix event links to their videos before publishing.

So far, the partnership has seen successful ticketing campaigns for both established and emerging artists, comedians and sports teams, including Niall Horan, The Kooks, Burna Boy and Shania Twain, while there have been more than 2.5 billion views of videos utilising the in-app features by artists, sports teams and event organisers since its beta launch in the US in 2022.

How It Works

TikTok accounts with 1k+ followers can now link directly to their tickets from their TikTok videos.

  • STEP 1: After creating your video, on the 'Post' page (where you normally add a video description), you will see an option here to "Add link".

  • STEP 2: Tap and select “Tickets”

  • STEP 3: Select “Concerts” then search for your event or artist name

  • STEP 4: Select your chosen event date(s), then press "+ Add"

  • STEP 5: Once you’re happy with the events selected, click ‘Link to post’

  • STEP 6: Touring artists should make sure to add #OnTour to their post descriptions to participate in TikTok’s campaign and maximise the opportunities provided.

Once creators share their video, TikTok users will then see a “Get Tickets” button within the video description that directs users to buy tickets on Ticketmaster or Moshtix.

Important Note: to ensure Ticket Anchor visibility, we recommend that you avoid using any of the following within the same post: TikTok Effects/Filters, CapCut Templates/Filters, TikTok Shop Link, TikTok LIVE RSVP, Location POI, etc. Only accounts with 1k+ followers have access to the integration.
