This gives fans the option to pay for tickets in four fortnightly instalments – spreading the cost over six weeks to purchase their tickets now.

Adding Afterpay to the checkout process is a small change that can have a meaningful impact. It gives fans more choice in how they pay, which can help reduce friction at the point of purchase—especially for higher-priced events or multi-ticket purchases.

We’ve seen that flexible payment options can support earlier sales and improve accessibility, particularly for younger audiences or those managing tight budgets.

There’s no additional setup required, with Afterpay automatically available at checkout for your fans.

How it works:

It’s simple: Afterpay now appears as a payment option during checkout. Fans who choose it will be able to split their total into four equal payments over six weeks. There's no changes to your payout process – Afterpay will be treated like other BNPL and digital wallet payment methods processed to Moshtix’s merchant account.

  There’s nothing you need to do to enable Afterpay—it’s already live across eligible events.

  Afterpay is only available where Moshtix is the merchant.

• Is Afterpay available in New Zealand?

  Yes! Afterpay is available on Moshtix in both Australia and New Zealand.

• Does it cost anything to have Afterpay on my event?

  No, Afterpay is available on your event at no extra cost to you.

• What happens to orders made through Zip?

  It’s business as usual with all orders made in the past! While Moshtix will no longer accept payments made via ZIP, all orders that were made using this payment method are valid and will continue to be managed by Moshtix.

  Yes, you'll need to sign up with Afterpay and be approved before completing your Moshtix purchase using Afterpay.

• Can I use Afterpay for all Moshtix events?

  Afterpay is available to use as a payment option on all live events at the discretion of the Event Organiser, excluding Ticket Requests.

• What should I do if I have a problem with my Afterpay account or payment?

  Information or assistance with Afterpay payments or accounts is managed by the friendly customer service staff at Afterpay. Information can be found on the Afterpay Help Centre, which includes a way to contact their customer service.
