Moshtix Joins Forces With BIG FAN To Empower The Next Generation Of Music Industry Talent Through The IGNITE Programme

We’re proud to announce our latest partnership with Aotearoa-based, not-for-profit music hub BIG FAN, supporting their 2025 IGNITE programme! The initiative is designed to inspire and educate young people aged 15 to 18, who are curious about a future in the music and live events industry.
IGNITE is a free 8-week programme designed to give young people hands-on skills, industry insights, and one-on-one mentorship. Participants will attend workshops, get behind-the-scenes venue and studio tours, and be mentored by industry professionals throughout the programme. Participants will also work on real-world projects: Event Management and Event Production streams will collaborate to organise and produce an all-ages show. Music Production stream participants will produce an original song over the course of the programme. IGNITE is uniquely focused on teaching not only creativity but also the complementary skills supporting the music industry, exposing the incredible breadth of career pathways and opportunities within it.
The programme runs in both Auckland and Wellington, with intakes kicking off in May through to July 2025. No prior experience is needed!
