What’s the most memorable live event you’ve been to?
While the big arena and stadium shows are memorable for their own reasons, the most memorable would have to be Orville Peck playing the Tuning Fork in Jan 2020. There’s something so special about being able to see one of your favourite artists in a small and intimate setting.
What excites you about working for Moshtix?
Being a part of a team that is truly passionate about what they do, is always looking for new ways to foster company culture and is focused on building engaged communities.
You’re stuck in an elevator with your new team members on your first day, how do you introduce yourself before the doors open?
I imagine it would have been brief! Hi, I’m Chelsea, formerly of Spark Arena, I love dogs and Mint Aero’s… detest mushrooms and deep-dish pizza. Thankfully with the help of Joe (Stanley - GM - Business Development for Moshtix), my elevator pitches are now far more refined!
Describe your dream festival lineup.
Florence and the Machine, Maggie Rogers, HAIM, Vera Blue, Léon.. and the ultimate legend, Celine Dion.
If you could only listen to one song/album for the rest of your life what would it be?
The Beatles 1. Whatever day you’ve had or whatever mood you’re in, there’ll be something for you.
What’s one artist you’d love to see live?
Dolly Parton playing at the Grand Ole Opry
Any hidden talents we ought to know about?
My ability to move from one hobby to another. My latest is sewing, so be warned, you’ll all be receiving pin cushions for Christmas!
