Applications Are Open Now For The Push Music Industry Mentoring Program At Moshtix

The Push's Music Industry Mentoring program is back with support from The Ian Potter Foundation, and applications are officially open!

Moshtix is proud to be taking part once again in this immersive experience that will give youth looking wanting to get into the music industry hands-on training in whatever part of the industry appeals to them - from event management, technical production, and marketing, to business operations and beyond.

Candidates will be mentored by industry pros who've been there, done that, and are ready to show them the ropes. We are proud to once again support The Push with having a young candidate join the team at Moshtix are also excited to support our friends at DarkLab (the team behind Odeon Theatre, Altar Bar and In the Hanging Garden, along with Dark Mofo Festival in Hobart), who have created an amazing opportunity for a Volunteer Music Programming Assistant to work in their Hobart office early 2025.

Additional mentoring opportunities for this intake of the program include Live Nation Entertainment, Mellen Events, Queensland Music Festival, Select Music and UNIFIED Music Group with opportunities across Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. To find our more about any of these positions check out The Push website.

Moshtix - Volunteer Marketing Assistant, Adelaide

You will have the opportunity to learn from the Moshtix Marketing team, assisting with the delivery of marketing campaigns across Moshtix channels. As the Volunteer Marketing Assistant your day-to-day may include learning about scheduling content across marketing channels, copywriting, proof-reading and maintaining content for web, newsletters, infographics, digital and print banners, social media and creative marketing campaigns.

Successful applicants will be matched with a workplace mentor who will provide guidance and support throughout the workplace learning program. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in regular online workshops to connect with and learn from other young people throughout the program.

Who can apply?

While this volunteer program is open to all young people aged 18 - 25 based anywhere within Australia, priority access will be given to First Nations young people, young people of colour, young people from low-income households, young people with a disability and LGBTQIA+ young people. To cover any expenses incurred, all program participants will receive a once-off honorarium paid at the commencement of the program.
