We are excited to share that TikTok has launched a new campaign called #OnTour encouraging artists to post on TikTok, and promote their shows direct in the app utilising our Ticket Anchor integration.

TikTok accounts with 1k+ followers can now add a ticket link to their TikTok videos, allowing fans to discover and buy tickets for your upcoming shows directly within TikTok. This feature recently rolled out across 20+ countries including Australia and New Zealand.

Artists should create content using these ideas:

  • Performance: Live performance or rehearsal from an upcoming or previous show

  • BTS: 'Get ready with me', explore your tour bus or show the gig production setup

  • Soundcheck: Capture soundcheck rehearsals

  • Just Announced: Speak directly to your fans to let them know you're visiting a venue near them

Content that follows these steps will be promoted via in-app touch points from Search to the FYP. It’s all designed to help drive fans to discover and buy tickets to upcoming shows.

At Moshtix, we strive to Make Live Easy and help artists connect with their ticket-buying fans.

How It Works

TikTok accounts with 1k+ followers can now link directly to their tickets from their TikTok videos.

  • STEP 1: After creating your video, on the 'Post' page (where you normally add a video description), you will see an option here to "Add link".

  • STEP 2: Tap and select “Tickets”

  • STEP 3: Select “Concerts” then search for your event or artist name

  • STEP 4: Select your chosen event date(s), then press "+ Add"

  • STEP 5: Once you’re happy with the events selected, click ‘Link to post’

  • STEP 6: Touring artists should make sure to add #OnTour to their post descriptions to participate in TikTok’s campaign and maximise the opportunities provided.

Once creators share their video, TikTok users will then see a “Get Tickets” button within the video description that directs users to buy tickets on Ticketmaster or Moshtix.

Important Note: to ensure Ticket Anchor visibility, we recommend that you avoid using any of the following within the same post: TikTok Effects/Filters, CapCut Templates/Filters, TikTok Shop Link, TikTok LIVE RSVP, Location POI, etc. Only accounts with 1k+ followers will have have access to the integration.
